It happens even before the buyer goes through the door, even before they get out of their car, and it is very important. ![]() Seeing Your Home Again for the First TimeSometimes it’s hard to distance yourself from your own home. The owner sees their home every day and they become are accustomed to it and the familiarity can blind them to how others see their homes. For that reason we at the Judy Lindsay Team recommend that our clients take pictures of their home from different angles (including the rear). Then bring those pictures inside, lay them out on your dining room table and try to see your home for the first time. Ask yourself the following questions:

One last tip involves the front door. This is where the eye of the visitor is automatically drawn so make sure that the door is in good repair, recently painted (or replaced) and make sure that the fixtures are clean and oiled. Like the saying goes, you only have one chance to make a first impression so make it count!
