Every year in September for the last 26 years I've given homeowners the exact same
advice and I haven't been wrong yet but first what happened to the Winnipeg Real Estate Market in August in August in Winnipeg we saw house sales fall 18.4% over last year however prices remained unchanged in condos we saw sales fall 39.3% but prices were up 5.9% So August was pretty much exactly what we expected out of a summer market now going to September we see the same thing happen every year and that is a very high demand market
because now the kids are back in school people are done their summer vacations and people want to get into a new house before Christmas or before it becomes cold outside which means two things No. 1 make sure you're pricing your house properly because you don't want to be
sitting on the market going into November December if the market changes and secondly look at possibly renting it out if the market's not there for it to sell in the fall where you can sell possibly for more in the spring thirdly look at getting your green photos done now so even if you're not ready to put your house on the market right now and you're thinking maybe you'll put it on in 2027 you have good quality green photos we'll come out and do those for free for you right now so they're ready to go for next year
